Pilates

Biographie

After 20 years of classical dance, the encounter with the pilates method was obvious. It allows us to become aware of our body and stimulate our energy by working postures and breathing for better harmony. My lessons are methodical, with fluid, rhythmic and tonic sequences that are aimed at both beginners and experienced. I like to accompany my students in the progression of flexibility, strength and mobility.

Yoga & Pilates

Biography

Influenced by the yogi philosophy, the spirituality of my teachers and my belief in the benefits of Yoga and Pilates, my teaching style aims to create gentle and balanced classes that are as stimulating and invigorating. I focus on anchoring the body and the mind at the beginning of the class, then I link breathing to movement to end with relaxation. My teaching style is caring and focused on an intermediate level while providing restful modifications for beginners and stimulating modifications for advanced participants. I like to share my passion in a good mood and help people find body & mind harmony.

Vinyasa Yoga

Biography

Since 2012, Fiona started her yoga practice. Thanks to daily stretches, she gained immense
improvement in flexibility and started to self-practice advanced poses within a year. Until one day, a
life lesson changed her. Her lower back was injured after a moment of adjustment by a teacher in
class. The year-long injury left her feeling hopeless and in distrust. She soon realized that it was her
who did not listen to her own body and allowed ego to consume.

In search of a method to practice yoga in a safe, non-competitive and mindful way, Dario Calvaruso’s
Navakaraṇa Vinyāsa method has become the backbone of Fiona’s practice. Concise application of
breath and movement allows kinaesthetic progression into poses. Under Dario’s guidance, she
completed Navakaraṇa Vinyāsa Hṛdayam training and have taught classes in Hong Kong, Philippines,Malaysia and France. Fiona offers meditative yet challenging yoga styles for students to personalize their practice.

About the class:

Are you yoga-strong? Come find out!
In this 1h class, you will experience the traditional practice of Navakarana method of yoga, centered around the development of strength, balance and flexibility. A particular focus will be brought upon breath in this challenging yet rhythmic flow. All instructions will be given in English.

Developed by Dario Calvaruso, Navakarana Vinyasa is a collection of 12 “series”, all built in 3 sequences, which activates all body parts, each focusing on a different group of muscles.

Vinyasa Yoga

Biography

I discovered yoga first as a sport in 2018 and then as a discipline in 2020. The practice has been part of my life ever since. Driven by the desire to share moments of connection with your body and perhaps with others, after my yoga teaching training between November 2021 and July 2022, I started giving Vinyasa classes. The flows are tested, studied and adapted to each during the course.
