Here are some examples of postures (asanas) beneficial for any healthy person. These positions can also help treat very common health problems.
In themselves, all postures are good for health and all are complementary. The suggestions below are more “trends” and main effects of certain asanas. As explained in other articles (ex: 6 tips for practicing yoga well), it is ultimately about listening to yourself, the practice of Yoga leading to a deep connection to yourself.
In order not to weigh down the article, I mention here only the names of the postures. It’s up to you to look for them on our blog or on the internet :).
Postures that slightly increase heart tone:
- Chair (utkatasana)
- Tied Half Bridge (ardha setu bandha)
- Muzzle dog facing the sky (urdhvamukha shvanasana)
- Seated Clamp / West Stretch (paschimottanasana)
Postures with a calming effect in case of excitation of the heart, palpitations, tachycardia:
- Standing triangle (utthita trikonasana)

This small non-exhaustive list can already be a good start to start your Yoga practice. Nevertheless, ideally, regular full practice is what is recommended and brings the best results.
